How to become a sponsor.

How to apply for a sponsorship from the Welsh Pony & Cob Society of Australia Inc.


A budget for sponsorship requests is set by the Society each year in February and it is recommended that requests be made at or before this time. Once the budget is allocated, any requests received will be considered in the following year’s budget.
In regard to Horse Shows, the Society requirements regarding sponsorship of classes are:

  • Inclusion of the Section E Welsh Geldings in the Best In Hand / Supreme Led Exhibit.
  • Classes to be run according to the show regulations of the WPCS of Aust. Inc.
  • Part Welsh animals are not eligible to compete against Welsh Ponies & Cobs, Refer to the show regulations of the WPCS of Aust. Inc.
  • It is requested that a current member of the WPCS of Aust. Inc. Judges Panel be appointed. (the Judges List is available from the office)
  • The Committee of Management meets bi-monthly (February, April, June, August, October & December) so any sponsorship requests must be tabled at one of these meetings for discussion and approval.

The inclusion of Welsh Pony & Cob classes at your event is much appreciated. A standard program of classes can be provided upon request,
